See Windows 8 Metro.
Yeah good point. But that's just the sort of drastic change i mean and I'm not sure how metro will combine with software beyond coffee table apps.
I had another replacement and finally got one that was in 100 percent shape..
i.e. Nice bright white screen, no dents and a working vibrate that doesn't rattle the screen.
The one last issue I had was that Apple charged me for the Express Replacement service even though I had Apple Care so after another 25 minute phone call, I got a refund on that.
Overall, phone call costs for getting a new phone were in excess of £14
Looking forward to going through the whole thing again when the iPhone 5 comes out
They do use some kinda strengthend scratch resistant glass, but I guess if they used Gorilla glass, Samsung would throw a fit and another patent war would begin
Does look like a big phone huh?
My mate has just got the HTC One X which is bigger than the iPhone but a bit thinner and lighter... Actually a rather nice phone. Let's hope the 5 has a similar form factor or is at least lighter than the 4s.
Not having a glass back is a really bad move IMO. One of the best features about the 4 models. I bought mine on day one, not a mark on either side and have never put any film on or anything.
Yeah I thought apple pioneered gorilla glass on phones. Infact, I think I read that they couldn't find anyone supplying suitably tough glass so they found 20 year old abandoned research and funded the continuation. [edit] Doh! It's all there in Pete's link.

I was contemplating getting a speaker dock but I reckon I will hold off now. It would be pretty upsetting if there was zero compatibility with the new phone

Hey Apple would never do a thing like that
Seen somebody drop a iphone 4 whilst I was queuing to go on Stealth at Thrope Park, fell from quite a height & was ok, quite surprised at the time as I know a few who has not been so lucky & 150 notes later...
