I have had my iphone 3gs for 2 years now and would be happy to keep it another year. I got it primarily because i was carrying a phone and an ipod everywhere, so i was killing 2 birds with 1 phone!

I must admit i don't think i would get any other type of phone now.

Not sure about only being able to get the Lion release from the app store tho, makes it a bit of a pain if you have to reformat, and i was hoping to put a clean install on one of my machines, which means i will have to do a clean snow leopard install and then a Lion on top...

Have installed iOS 5.0 on an iPad and am trying to work out what has changed, still cant seem to wirelessly sync iTunes even tho i have iTunes 10.5 installed..

I wonder how many security holes Apple will leave open between Snow Leopard and Lion :awe:

Snow Leopard didn't even run on the PowerPC.
Lion needs a C2D or better.

Agreed. Although, full screen apps.....

On a slightly better note the new Mac Air looks pretty nice and the optical drive less mini is smaller than ever.

Pretty nice spec on the mac mini's too!! 8-) However working with apple mac's all day renders me totally uninterested in getting one for home!!
For gods sake, its a carton box - not the holy grail!
