There's a tatty labelled one on auction from Italy. I bet that ends near £100. Fees would be a bugger though.
I’ve got my eye on the Italian cart, but assuming it gets up to around £130 , then £25 shipping, then +20% I’m better off just waiting for a uk based sale to pop up on a forum…

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
For what it's worth I agreed with the 'could be more' and just bought Grinning Cat's this morning.
I've only seen it for sale a couple of times since I got the buy bug in 2020, both times around £600 and sold quickly. It might be the last game I had on my mental want list. It's peak Taito cute and seems much rarer than their others (maybe because they keep dying).

yeah i agree it really is superb taito. Was thinking around the 600 originally but wasn't so sure if its gone up or down in the current climate but doesn't come up all that much ..perfect description of it "peak Taito Cute"

Is 350 for a SSV Multi (Vasara 1 & 2, Change Air Blade & Ultra) including Mobo a realistic price?

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Oh my word!!!
I’ll come up with some prices when I get a chance today. Can only really do the handful that I have/been looking for.
I won’t give a price for Windjammers as I’m interested in buying it so there’s probably a conflict of interest.
I’ll keep a beady eye out for your sake thread!

Aero Fighters 3 - £80

Neo Turf Masters £120 - £140
Pulstar - £500 - £600?!? Price from list below! Seems high?
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/ ... view#gid=0
Prices are a bit odd at the minute. Certainly not as high as they have been, but due to slower listings too if you have something someone wants they’ll snap it up!
I’ve also given a range to account for real/repro/good/poor quality labels…
Maybe start at the higher figure and reduce over time?
I’d suggest everything +£8 with the shock box. That’s cheap, but most people either just want loose, or want specific art from Southtown (or elsewhere) to match the shock boxes in the rest of their collection.
Great collection you have. Shame to see you selling it

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Pricecharting.com also tracks MVS cartridges but the average it formulates can be all over the place, especially for slow sellers, so it's essential to see the context which it helpfully provides.ChrisBEANS wrote: February 23rd, 2025, 11:31 amhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/ ... view#gid=0
Prices are a bit odd at the minute.
The result often gets broken by bad data scraping which can't account for:
• Miscategorised listings
• Misunderstood definitions
• EBay's false reporting of completed sale prices (phantom offers)
• General eBay sale fishiness (early pulls, outside deals, fake sales, cancelled orders/non-payers)
This doesn't matter too much on items that sell every week but on items that are only tracked a few times a year it can create a complete pig's ear..
But the handy thing is you can at least scroll down and see the data sources it collected..
And then apply your own scepticism.
Another skew is caused by algorithmic predictions. Not such a problem with a regular seller but when there is only a single tracked sale in four years the generated price categories are basically worthless...
Again it's handy that we can check the data. That single sale was in unusually good condition, could have sold for less than ebay reported, and could just be a blip. With the context we can make that judgement.
Oh, and '1 sale per year' is the lowest Pricecharting can count. If it states that then check it isn't a sale from ten years ago.
My long-winded point is that trackers are handy starting points but you can't take the auto-generated averages with much value unless there are a lot of regular sales or you have a lot of provided context.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I find mvs hard to price ,Glancing at the list id the US list (on the lower scale) looks about right to me
some odd outliers on it driving up prices for some carts ,I would think @pubjoe might have a good handle on where some of these lie at the moment
Edit and he just posted before I finished typing

I have bought a lot of those listed games over the last few years. I'd have to check to remember exact prices I paid and many were bundles, but the prices Mr Beans quoted don't seem far off - maybe a little on the Heinz side but then I didn't care about condition for most.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I was trying not to go too lowball, but if I’m honest I actually think they trend towards a little high rather than a little low…
But about right
I’m actually interested in Windjammers and Soccer Brawl, but it’d be poor form to suggest prices of twenty quid each for my own nefarious ends

No Zupapa in this list… it continues to elude me

Just seen a thread on AP that sadly massively undermines SVCC kit prices.
Last of a box full of matching kits, assume NOS £395

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Thanks all re: MVS pricing. This list is helpful. Ideally looking to sell as a lot, so wonder if someone could suggest a ballpark for everything?
I noticed things like Twinkle Star Sprites are very sought after now. To be honest I sold most of my AES collection for this and had a Silver Shadow IV made by 'the great hopper', so probably lost out there! Of course in favour of gaming and having a good collection.
I am certain everything is 100% original, I remember buying several 'Super Dodge Ball' MVS carts all arriving as bootlegs and getting rid of them right after. There were certain rate titles that I had and got rid off both AES and MVS, just because they weren't any good / wasn't playing them, things like Over Top.
Opened many carts up yesterday, and tested 20 or so of the rarer titles. Some needed a good clean, but all original and working perfectly.
Hope these will go to a good home, ideally someone who wants to take them all, and make some cash selling on / keeping what they need for their collection.

You’ll almost certainly either just be stuck with them, or you’ll get significantly less than they’re worth.
I gave a little thought to taking them all myself so I could keep a couple and sell the rest off to break even, but I literally couldn’t offer anything close to their individual values.
It’s a massive initial outlay.
I appreciate it’s a ball ache, but definitely in your best interest to sell separately.
If you want a completely hassle free sale as a lot, I’d say £7500 collected by buyer.
