That Aero on Vac took a while longer to sell than I thought & others aren't getting snapped up so quick as there were just 12-18 months ago.

this one?

To be fair that's double what you'd expect ten years ago and it was a slow sell. Just how it is now I think.

Yeah but it wasn't that long ago that any candy was selling with inflated prices in minutes something that is panning off recently.

E2 still has the buzz for most due to the rotate mech that most will never use anyway.

Well look, it use to sell for $90 (bare PCB only) and a full kit, meaning paws, box, art, pop, everything was about $600. At some point the price creeped up for the PCB to about $300, however the full kit never really seemed to spike too much, maybe $800? At the end of the day you have a lot of the parts, but not a full kit, so I'm not sure who the market is for that. People who want to play the PCB probably don't want to pay more for the extras, people who collect probably want it all.

Not to mention there are two sources for repros for the cat paws, with the ones from MiSTerAddOns arguably being better due to the silicon add on to reduce wobbling.

Sorry, I'm not much help here. I'd say maybe $450?

Windy 2
Beat me to it, I've been meaning to ask about a Windy 2 for a while! (Sorry to hear you're thinking of getting out of the game entirely btw :( )

For mine, I was thinking around £1250 as it has some burn on the screen. It's a weird type of burn, like a marbling effect over the whole screen.
Noticeable, but can't put my finger on what the burn is. Definitely not a distinct INSERT COIN or PRESS START burn.
For a cab with no screen burn, price could definitley move up.
I''ve also got an official Konami JAMMA --> JVS adaptor and an Alberto 1P panel to include in the price.

geldra wrote: February 7th, 2025, 1:57 pm Hello all, I’m looking to reduce my cab footprint somewhat, what’s the current climate for cabs like? It feels pretty quiet out there (not a surprise the way the world is atm).

Possibly looking to get out of the game entirely or maybe keep one cab but what are the ballparks on these? I know prices went wild during Covid but where are we now?

I know it’s probably the worst time to do it but here we are.

E2
Can't see you struggling to shift the E2, there was at least 2 threads on the lookout for one for many months, I know as I posted one of them and never got one!

Good to know, thank you.

@wigsplitta I’m probably going to hold onto at least one cab, perhaps 2. Just trying to decide which.

Hi all, I've been out of the game for over 10 years and have the following PCBs to sell.

They are all original and in good condition, some such as Bubble Bobble come with the jamma adaptor, artwork, manual, etc.

Would appreciate a rough idea of the value for following:

Rainbow Islands
Parodius Do!
The New Zealand Story
Sunset Riders
Tetris
Super Pang
Super Cup Finals / Taito Cup Finals
R-Type
Sexy Parodius
Pang
Final Fight
Bubble Bobble
Parodius
Namco Classic Collection vol. 2 (Pac Man, Dig Dug, Rally X)
Xmen vs Street Fighter CPS2 Japanese Green complete
Street Fighter Zero 3 CPS2 Japanese Grey complete
Super Street Fighter II Turbo CPS2 Japanese Blue complete

What’s a good price for Windjammers MVS?

I thought it was ubiquitous and as one of the most common carts therefore cheapest carts. Great game, but common. Like Metal Slug or Turf Masters.

However, I’m not seeing it on forums, and it’s stupidly priced on eBay.

Games can be common and still pricey.

Zelda, Metroid for instance..

A windjammers cart seems to be around €250 currently.

I got one a couple of years ago for something like £130.

There's a tatty labelled one on auction from Italy. I bet that ends near £100. Fees would be a bugger though.

Yeah, I figured just south of £150 would be about the rate.

I’ve got my eye on the Italian cart, but assuming it gets up to around £130 , then £25 shipping, then +20% I’m better off just waiting for a uk based sale to pop up on a forum…

It’s not like there’s any rush to get a copy 8-)
