Re: The great macdebate (now with roids)
Only filthy rich people with apparently super expensive apartments/houses (according to the video material shown by apple), lack of life partners and which are obviously looking forward to some next level XR porn.

Knowing people who can afford such a toy, I do wonder how expensive all the apps and the cosmic level cyber porn will be. Doesn't make sense to let them have the experince for low sum.

Sometimes I get the impression these companies don't do any consumer research at all and just design products for their tech bros.

I've really been enjoying using my early 2015 Macbook Pro since September after I installed Chrome OS Flex on it. Amazing how adblockers can make the whole Googl'experience feel hassle free.

I bought a Pixel 8a last month just because it'll get updates all the way to 2031.

I don't think I've looked forward to getting a new phone upgrade for about 10 years. I can remember when you were counting down the days to get a new upgrade. I think the screen, camera and performance reached a usuable peak for me a good few years back and all the upgrades in these areas and others (looking at you AI

I think phones peaked a few years ago and now they're getting worse with features being taken away. I can somewhat understand losing the 3.5mm jack and BT 'does the job' in a lot of scenarios and there is always the USB C > 3.5mm adapters etc if you really want to use wired. What really annoys me is that the move towards getting rid of removeable storage. All flagship phones seem to have lost SD card slots but they seem to be more available on the lower end phones. The S24 I recently got doesn't have a SD card slot and it's the reason I've not even turned it on yet even though I've had it for a couple of months.

Re: The great macdebate (now with roids)
My current Sony Xperia 10 VI has a SD card slot & 3.mm jack & just to spice it up a bit I went for the ice blue over the white & black colours.
I agree phones have a retched a plateau now my Sony XZ was the last great phone for me.
