It doesn't.

Last Crusade is my favourite. The dynamic with Connery is fantastic, it's just the right amount of silliness.

It's Raiders of the Lost Ark, but honestly I can rewatch any of the original three.

Godzilla minus one, just back from well worth a trip to the cinema (even with annoying kids yapping all the way through)and really shows Hollywood up for their Godzilla attempts...

Saw it in my local theater last week, it was awesome.
It had a more serious tone in drama and focus on the human characters, but also great action and CGI effects. In any case one of the best Godzilla movies. 9/10 imo

Watched muppets Christmas Carol again last night.
I must have seen it at least ten times in my life.
Still holds up, still gave me some genuine, out loud laughs.

Don’t be too cool, treat yourselves, it’s brilliant fun.

It really does everything so well and pacing of the story throughout was near on perfect ,some great set pieces, some great camera shoots , the odd bit of cgi was ropey but considering the reported budget* its amazing *(i think the budget figure is slightly skewed due to many factors).

do not read unless you have watched it
the Jaws vibe of this was not where i expected it to go and it just worked so well

All classics!

Just putting Rocky IV on… the fight takes place on Christmas Day. That’s a Christmas film in my book

Rocky IV’s great. Lundgren’s legendary in it.

Indiana jones and the geriatric adventure

Not bad at all imo, not great either, and definetly almost 1h too long. Do not like the ridiculous ammount of unecessary killing in it, everyone gets murdered! Wtf!?

Conor McGregor aside (awful, AWFUL, casting that would have been so much more fun with any number of four dozen fighters in the same role), Road House is a fun hour and a half.

Silly fun. Get involved.

The new love interest isn’t a patch on the woman who was in Cocktail, but perhaps that’s my age??

I watched the Gran Turismo film the other day and somehow Geri Halliwell puts in a better performance than Orlando Bloom. Go figure.

Conor McGregor ruined it for me. It’s like he’s in a completely different film. I was enjoying it until he showed up then it all just goes to ****.

Fair comment. I was pretty drunk, and really enjoying it, and even in that state I was moved to criticise the casting!
I don’t doubt it’s even more of a bummer sober!

The one saving grace is that they were going to remake it years ago with Ronda Rousey in the lead role, and they thankfully thought better of it.

So far today…

Lionheart - fun
The Quest - better, more fun, plus Roger Moore
No Retreat, No Surrender - **** no. Don’t bother. Dreadful.
Kickboxer - absolute classic, love it

I’m hoping there’s time for Bloodsport before Mrs Beans gets home

I know Cyborg is terrible, but Sudden Death is kinda fun. Legionaire was also decent, but not much fighting.
