I'm not staying to describe everything again as in the messages. The messages speak for themselves. And this is the video.

I can test if you like 👍 These MvS carts are pretty hardy once had one turn up covered jam and played fine after a good scrub.
I clearly said to clean well with contact cleaner or an eraser, but it is fixed that it ruins the basics, it does not work and wants a refund, without any real proof with videos or photos.
I have been selling for years and those who deserve a refund for serious reasons have always been there ... And if I'm not mistaken, you too have bought from me 👍

They do indeed. It was explained to you clearly that the cartridge was tried in different cabinets, and it was explained to you that it was also cleaned. (For what it's worth, ther was never any mention of a supergun, nor should it matter whether I'm using a cabinet, a multi slot, a single slot, a supergun, a consolized MVS or any other legitimate way of playing an MVS cartridge)

Your negative feedback towards me is simply retaliatory, and not one of the points you made was accurate or even relevant. You were paid, and you were given the opportunity to rectify the fact you sold a faulty cartridge covered in fizzy drink, you have refused to do that and you have kept the money. You have no reason to leave negative feedback.

I've bought from you too mate. Not only here, but I'm pretty sure also at UKVAC and from one of your various alias eBay accounts.

This cartridge cost less than £100 including shipping. It's about as cheap a cartridge as I own! I've bought thousands of pounds worth of items, from cabs, to games, PCBs parts, artwork, and christ knows what else?! What would be the point in complaining about this alone if it were not simply faulty and worthy of return?!?

Ahh isn't that the money? 🙏🙏
Already from the first message you asked me for a refund and return ... Without really trying to solve with me.
My principle instead of not having to do with characters like you. I saw that you are a salesman. So I will send attention to my contacts (and they are really many ...) for me closed topic.

Erm... I have sold a single cab, once.

No sales on here, no sales on UKVAC, and no sales on eBay?! I do not, and have not, sold any carts?!?

This is getting surreal.

You "send attention" to your contacts. You have my address. x

The reason is written in the messages, Read, THERE ARE SEVERAL FORUMS that talk about superguns that if they are not perfect can cause problems in the games, be informed. ABOUT my video, do you have anything to say? Do you want the creation date? I have that too. You immediately aimed for the return ... I repeat, without negotiating ...
In addition, the cart cost less than € 100 shipped and no British Pounds .. DO NOT tell falsehoods. (price clearly written in the thrend) ...
Why don't you show your supergun? Your base and THE VIDEO of what it shows ... After 2 days your importance is to do messages and fadebacks instead of solving ..
Untrustworthy person.
For me you could also have a faulty cart and want to exchange it ... Given your arrogance and no visual evidence

Finally, on ebay all positive fadebacks .. And not a few, who knows your only one here .. For a cartridge probably dirty, but working, as shown in the video.
Now if your colleague who has applied to help you will notice that it is a dirty problem and that's it and confirm, I hope to receive an apology ...

" ABOUT my video, do you have anything to say?" - Nope, not really. Who knows when it was taken, or even if that was the one slot that was actaully plugged into the screen?

"Do you want the creation date? I have that too" - The date it's posted on YouTube was recent. That has no bearing on when it was taken.

"You immediately aimed for the return ... I repeat, without negotiating ..." - Yep. You sent me a faulty cartridge covered in fizzy drink. I'd like to return it.

"In addition, the cart cost less than € 100 shipped and no British Pounds .. DO NOT tell falsehoods. (price clearly written in the thrend) ..." - Yep. If you check exchange rates, you'll find that anything under €100 would also cost under £100. My point was that it is of little monetary value, a point you clearly agree with??

"Why don't you show your supergun?" - Erm... because I don't have a supergun?

"Your base and THE VIDEO of what it shows ... After 2 days your importance is to do messages and fadebacks instead of solving .." - There's literally a post documenting the conversation. You are unwilling to accept return of a faulty cartridge and so I have left negative feedback. That's why feedback exists.

"For me you could also have a faulty cart and want to exchange it ... Given your arrogance and no visual evidence" - Well, 'for me', you sold me a duff cartridge and are unwilling to accept a return. The cartridge literally has a serial number printed on it. I'm quite happily sending the cartridge to thegreathopper as per his kind offer above.

As for the accusation of arrogance, I'd appreciate it if you steered clear of being insulting x

I'm obliged.

I'll send the cart to TheGreatHoper as above, just for the transparency of an independent eye.

I'll accept that I'm down on the sale and take that on the chin.

I won't take up any more space in here and am grateful for the resolution regarding feedback.

If @thegreathopper confirms it is faulty, then @ThomasM needs to refund it including return shipping. If he finds it is working then he doesn't and feedback will be removed. Simples.

I would have accepted the refund, but not the return costs because it seems normal to me, since the non-functioning is not justified, since I have indicated solutions, in case it does not go and sent a video ... If you also want the screen shot of when the video was created. So why should I refund € 20.30 in return ????
SuperPang I think I have every reason to answer the negative of Cris. But you are the boss ..

Here is the screen of the video with the realization date, and the cell folder with the date June 3 ... There is also time. On youtube it was created tonight to send it to you converted from my cell ... I think it is not difficult to understand this ...

@ThomasM

Well... this is awkward...

I dropped the cart with @thegreathopper and he’s been kind enough to look at it.

He tells me he opened it up and found the boards to be covered in the sticky substance.

However, he’s given it a good clean himself, and post cleaning he’s managed to get the cartridge to boot.

This is good, and it means there isn’t one less cartridge in the world. Something I’m genuinely pleased about.

It doesn’t change the fact the cart was not working when received, and it doesn’t change the fact that being combative is no way to treat a customer.
Beyond that, making bizarre accusations of using superguns and being a rival “salesman” are no way to resolve a dispute.

You won’t be getting anything remotely approaching any acquiescence or apology from me and I stand by everything I’ve said...

However, now that thegreathopper has got this bad boy up and running, I’m no longer looking at spending another €98.50 on getting a copy elsewhere. As a gesture of goodwill if you name a charity of your choice I’ll happily make a donation to that effect in your name and post the receipt here.

So, I’ve tried to resolve this privately, I’ve been happy to have open discussion in this thread, I’ve been happy to involve an independent third party (thanks again hopper) and I’m willing to make a gesture of good will. Reckon you can simply name the charity and move on?

Turns out it wasn’t about the money after all. Who knew?!

X
