Joining the ranks on this one. Picked it up this weekend. Sold as defective and it had been sitting in her home for 10+ years. The MVS-adapter was upside down. :D CP obviously slightly modified for MVS. It came with the system and games in the pictures plus a multicart, minus Crossed Swords.

Here's an album with some quick shots.
The schematics was inside the front door, so those are most important to archive, I will photograph them. Condition is like new minus some exterior scratches and wear. Picture quality is gorgeous. Everything looks like its original and unrestored. It's factory wired for 230V and to me it seems like it has been in home use since forever.

Anyone know what type of buttons are originally installed in the Pony Mk 3? To me it looks like Omron "neogeo" buttons 30mm in black white and red? Red is pretty easy to find but I haven't seen black or white.

Maybe I'll have to give up and just go for Sanwa ones.

They’re Seimitsus.

I think they were originally snap-ins.

They're Seimitsus, and if the situation is still the same - you'll need to buy two buttons and exchange the plungers for some colours.

My mind is saying screw-ins are original but its been a long time since I was sure of that.

These say Sanwa. Taken from a Mark II 28, but who knows who did what to it.

I think WHITE color would look better than black as it brings out all the details / shape of the cab more

So I’m repopulating again :fastlove:

I’m trying to decide which to go for this time. Pang’s team snap-in, cools is team nut-in (casually), I went nut last time.

Seems that the original buttons aren’t available anymore (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=39133&p=508897#p508897) so it’s pretty much a matter of preference. Maybe snap-ins are closer though?

Buying screw-ins last time I did have to buy black and white and swap plungers. Though it seems the black rims are actually available in both styles - couldn’t find them 7 years ago.

Actually. Nah. They’re just snap-ins aren’t they.
