The toughest part about Border Down was by far the translation. The strips have a ton of text, and a ton in Kanji translates to a **** in English. I took the Engrish route to make up for it a few times

The BD marquee was another story - I had an absolute **** copy to start with - and basically, I had no choice but to keep the girl, earth, and the ships, redoing everything else. The major difficulty was cleaning up the cut renders to look good with the freshly drawn new parts. In the end, I think I finally nailed it though -

For just one damn strip - UD was a pain. In the end, I actually had to change up a few aspects of it, like the camo texture & the textures in the rough border shapes. Other than that thought, it came out pretty awesome -

And of course - the 3rd Strike A4. Obviously, as this is printed B1 size, the coolest thing about this one was that I had nearly all the hi-res character renders to start. The rest was just textures, shapes, and text of course. In fact, the only 2 things kept from the original, were the logo, and the small drawing of Makoto parrying Q in the upper right. Oh and there's one other change I made - yet I'm pretty sure that most would agree it's for the better

I just wrapped up w/an the Under Defeat logo - which was a nightmare btw. I made up a fairly simple, original design poster w/it that I'll post a pic of later. And as another forum member had requested - If you're like me and love designing this type of stuff - here's a link to a 300DPI design template for the Uni Style marquee - http://www.mcs-arcade.com/files/NaomiMQTemplate.psd And as far as the move strip - the exact dimensions are 48cm x 7cm - so have at it
