Re: macdebate club.
I know people make guides to open an imac and they use all this special order lab equipment, but theres really nothing to it. You don't need anything like those skyscraper climbing suction tools that they use. You just grip the top corners with your fingers, open the glass out towards yourself and give it a good wipe with a lint free cloth and a bit of spit. It's very difficult to do any harm in the process. It's pretty common that after 3 years the glass will get a streaky patch. I just consider wiping it off as general cleaning, it's nowhere near as hard as everyone thinks it will be.

Re: macdebate club.

I'm due an upgrade in a couple of days and I'm jumping ship. I think I'm going to get the Galaxy Note 2. From what I've been reading it seems a lot of people are moving over to Android too.

I hope it has some decent new features. If the camera's a worthwhile upgrade i might get one.
Mine is still going great though two and a half years on, not a mark on it, best phone I've had so far.

Oh looks like a no then, You'd think that would be there next logical move, Guess there either having trouble securing the rights or having trouble with the tech.

Maybe relating to thickness or clarity, it mentions 'touch now integrated in the display'

Re: macdebate club.
I moved the wife to android today. I'm finally phasing iTunes out of my life.
I'm thinking W8 for myself or a galaxy S3. I need to play about with w8 before I decide.
I hate iTunes with such a hardon

Damn that's thin at 6.7mm. I remember the iPod nano introduction ("it's really really thin") and being quite amazed when I held the tiny technology with a little colour screen. I just looked it up and that was 6.9.

Apple were going to have to have to pull something pretty special out of the bag to entice me to stay. Android here I come.

Hey, I kinda hate iTunes too, but it's awesome for fixing ID3-tags, so I won't stop using it as long as I download music with "scene tags" that sucks ****.
