I just like it cos it doesn't scratch like every plastic phone ever made and look grotty a year later. If you drop normal plastic phones they break too.

My HTC Desire was Gorilla glass screen surrounded by a metal frame & a rubber coated plastic back even after 2 years its in pretty good shape, except some water damage, new Moto razer is waterproof all phones should be.

iPhone range is a bit small for my hands GSIII feels just right for me.

I've got to admit, I'm pretty jealous of the Galaxy S screen.

The specs say that's a serious bit of kit for a change.

Top spec portables normally are. The Apple stuff is never obscene compared to its rivals though.

Just got rid of PS3 and games and purchased an iPad2, lovin it so far. Also just upgraded phone to a HTC One X, mainly for the music quality can finally ditch phone and separate MP3 player combo. Any must have for arcade fans on the iPad apart from Cave output?

Same price as the current Sandy Bridge models.
I may get a 17inch if they weigh less.

Is there such thing as iPad arm. Like tennis elbow? Because I feel like I'm getting it. This is along with iPad neck and iPad belly because it some how makes me stick my belly out when I stand up using it.

Oh God. I think it's just won me over.

[edit] Bloody hell. $2199 translates to £1799?

[edit] £1528 + free 3yr warranty and vouchers on the HE store.

I ordered a 15" Retina Display MBP last night moments after the store opened using the HE store :D

Only issue was that Applemcare wasn't free it was £69 and the voucher which was auto added had problems adding due to a cliche that appears to be fixed.

I'm going to email them later to ensure that the voucher can be re-added

If you don't pay the £69, you still get a 3-year warranty. It's hidden somewhere in the UK student T&Cs. Apparently it's not full applecare with phone support but it gets added to 'about this mac' as 3 year applecare at some point after purchase.

:awe: Sorry, but you could effectively earn £69 for the trouble of cancelling and re-ordering (plus possibly another £30 for going through top cashback).

It's a shame the imacs weren't updated. Maybe the fact that they're holding them back means that there will be 'retina' models when they eventually show up.

I think I'll resist the new mbp. I'm a fan of sitting at a desk with a big screen and it's pretty recently that I bought an Air for Mrs.

I've used a laptop since around 2006 I think, so I will definitely be getting one, but for anyone contemplating a purchase, don't get 16gig from Apple. They charge 160 for the upgrade when you can buy a 2x8gb kit for £50 £90 from ebuyer
