Re: Petrol-Headz Motor Thread
Finally threw the towel in during August for keeping the 600bhp JDM Spec C Impreza just for competition stuff..... I had not even done any competitive racing this year!
Too much stress and I couldn't be arsed anymore.
I had to replace it with something else so went out purchased another scoob!

A very very nice unregistered (in the UK anyhow) standard 2005 JDM (so 2ltr) Hawkeye with just over 8k miles on the clock:

Had it 6 weeks and already had the spanners out and done various things....... it went on the rollers the other week and hit 400bhp so plenty powerful enough for a "road car".
I just hope I don't get the itch and whip the engine out / go mental AGAIN!

Re: Petrol-Headz Motor Thread
anyone in london see two crazy bikers on saturday?
me and a mate were tearing it up all day, i did a huuuge burnout right in front of the palace amongst other things, was driving around expecting to get arrested at any moment.
not very mature but ridculously fun

This was the right price, + its had all the recalls done, and comes with all the option's that were on the earlier S version.

had a couple of sporty cars in the past. Capri 2.0s, XR3i, Fiesta ST, but this is just nuts, easy to drive tootling around town, but quick enough to give me a huge Clarks'n style grin when driving it like a .....

Any 2 seater that has a soft top option is an instant hairdresser car
The leather and interior trim is excellent in the TT.

Re: Petrol-Headz Motor Thread
Taking a break from the gaming scene for a few weeks.... I decided to start throwing some cash into the Scoob again.
Bored of 400bhp so:
New turbo, intercooler and inlet system.
Getting the intercooler and inlet system fitted on Monday / Tuesday and getting it remapped on Wednesday.
Target will hopefully be 450bhp.
That will do me for a few months.

Had a play with a motorbike today.... I think he had a heart attack that I kept up his **** from 40mph to xxxmph. I know he was giving it death as he was in full "chin down" mode.

Re: Petrol-Headz Motor Thread
I bought myself an old Scooby as well now I am a daddy. Mine is just a black 04 STI (UK) with the PPP 305bhp. It lacks the straight line speed of my Vette and VX Turbo but it has 4 doors and makes things easier for me! Hopefully it should be OK when the snow comes as well!fagin wrote:That didn't last long.... bored already and going for a bigger turbo again in the next couple of weeks!fagin wrote:Target now reached.... 450bhp.![]()
