That is a great price but you would be better off with a set of taper taps if available.
There is no need to use taper taps for cleaning out holes. Hell, I never even use taper taps for anything at work.
I am the opposite, I hardly use plug taps at work always taper taps. 8-)

Yes, I was going to go black but I've heard there's no going back :awe: Seriously I'm leaning more to white as I think it looks more natural in a Candy cab

Got a mate of mine to clear out the two sheared bolts cleanly - even my efforts with Francos uber-drill bits failed miserably. Threads are intact :D

Using the taps to clear the threads works absolutely brilliantly - don't fear powercoating for this reason.

Hoping I can get the shells rebuilt this week, if nothing else. Room is still full of parts with nowhere to put them :problem:

Tell me about it :awe:
Nice shiny mirror finish 8-)

Typically the top part of the cab had a couple of marks on the paint and the under CP panel that houses the speaker had a run so he's going to re-do them, Ready for pick up tomorrow :D
Prob have to use taps on the threads also but may not as normal spray paints softer, We shall see

It's looking lovely. Do you have a new wiring loom to compliment the spanky new paint?
