Time Crisis 4 monitor issue

My Time Crisis 4 SD had a ton of problems with the 2P side monitor since I got it; it came from the factory defective, so my distributor retrofitted a different monitor to the 2P side. It worked fine for about 2 weeks, but today that monitor started turning itself off briefly (coming back on every time) several times in the middle of gameplay.

I would be grateful for any troubleshooting steps that anyone can provide.

its most likely to be the dvd drive faulty,this threw me a bit when i first had this problem
to prove it just swap the mobo's over

do you get the picture flash in and out,almost like the monitor is being switched off and on?

That's exactly it.

I fortunately haven't seen this problem after a reboot, but if it starts happening again persistently I will try swapping the DVD drive first!
