Ok, I have a Astro 1 player pane that has a Sanwa JLF stick, its a nice stick but prefer the Semitsu LS32 stick.
How can I/what do I need to make the Semitsu replace the Sanwa?
Pic of current Sanwa Set up
the style of stick I want to use (ignore mounting plate)

Besides a new mounting plate?
You need 8 space connectors, 4 daisy chained to ground (white wire) the other 4 attached to the other wires on your stick harness
Alternatively a PCB/switch assembly from an LS32-01 with the connector inserted upside down (I believe) compared to the JLF

I should of said, I have a 8x spade connector 1 player Sega loom for the Semitsu LS32.
All I am after is the actual MOUNTING of the stick
As the plates for the LS32 is MUCH larger that the Sanwa ones.

A new panel.
No, I'm not kidding. You need the RE plate for the LS32 to fit it there, which will make it sit too low.

Good point, you'll need the extended shaft too, Arcadeshop.de sells both, shafts are quite pricey though

Get some washers/spacers between the plates, mount it at any height you prefer

i don't think it sits "too low" to function, it's just lower than you might expect.

I will take it apart later, and see how much room there is on the std mount, I might just make my own mounting plate
