Astro not powering up

Post by Devil Soundwave »

*Finally* got round to putting the Astro back together.

Not powering up at all, not sure why.

Stepdown is set correctly and it's light is on.

Switch on back of machine is on.

Switch on internal PSU is on.

I *think* everything is wired ok save a few items pictured below.

Ideas?

JVS Wiring loom. let me know if you replace it with a JAMMA wiring loom, I'd be willing to buy the JVS loom off you.

Check the fuses and break out the multimeter I would say.

wait, doesn't that little 3 prong thing go into the AC OUT next to the MONITOR AC OUT?

I dunno, does it?

Never had an Astro before. I find Sega's wiring pretty ludicrous though...

the only reason that wiring looks crazy is because its got the BIG PSU instead or the normal ostyle. It was used for the Model 2 stuff like VF2 etc.
