ps3 to egret III

I am thinking about getting a egret III to play SFIV through my ps3. I am not sure what type of cable I should get for connection the ps3 to the egret's monitor.

I heard that the Egert's monitor is 480i. It seems like all the ps3 vga cables do not support 480i (http://www.mayflash.com/vgabox/vga004/vga004.htm).

Should I get the ps3 component cables and then get a component to vga adapter (http://www.provantage.com/infocus-sp-ve ... NFB08M.htm).

If you know of a cable that works well could you please give me a link

Egret 3 = 15/24/31khz

31khz = 640x480 = 480p

so your good to go with a vga cable

UK PS3's only output 576p, not 480p. 576p does sync on my AWSD, but not on my Naomi. So you might be in luck. Best option is to use a us/Japanese PS3 or a 360 as they all output 480p via a vga cable.
