Astro Panel - What Sticks

Post by BackInTimeSime »

Hello

I have a Sega Astro, I just got a proper panel for it, but the sticks on the current ones are not the same. What sticks should I be looking for for a Astro cab??

My wiring has a 5 wire (ish) flat connector rather than the normal crimp connector for each output.

sounds like you need sanwa sticks or a different mounting plate for your current sticks

I'm trying to replace my Wiring for Seimitsu sticks with Sanwa wiring, I have an original Seimitsu loom for both P1 and P2 in my cab, perhaps we could trade wiring?

Thanks for the update, not so worry about the wiring, more the sticks, plus I will keep the old panel, so be handy to keep it as it is.

So looks like I will need to look for some sanwa sticks...

Always check facts and use reliable sources...

To me it looks like you have a sanwa panel, the mounting looks to deep for seimitsu.

You can measure to see which fits.
Info for the sanwa mounting plate:
http://www.akihabarashop.jp/images/sanw ... rement.jpg

If this is it, you just need the plate, and can use your existing joysticks. The plate is called JLF-P-1S, and the joystick a JLF-TP8

If it is indeed a seimitsu, which I doubt, the dimensions will be:
