Sega Rally 3 Twin due out anytime now..

Was an attempt from Sega UK to stick a finger up at Sega Japan, henc ethe name Europa.

The Sega Rally 3 cab is awesome, but it has a few design faults, good news is they used all off the shelf parts for the PC, so it means easy repairs and not relying on SOJ 4-6 week lead time.

That's 27.869,93 USD. How long would it take for an arcade operator to repay the costs? The machine has to make at least 80 usd per day to cover the costs in two years. Feasible?

In Sweden I believe the two known machines are set to 20 SEK per credit, that's about £1.66 GBP or $3 USD.

The DX cabs are motion moving ones, so probably £2-£3 a go, depending on area..

Reports indicate it is doing well, really tweaked version of Sega Rally Revo.

A two year payoff in an okay location is totally feasible.
Daytona STILL makes money... all these years later. If you keep it in good shape the people will keep coming back.

Some of the local newer title racing games are earning 150 - 225 a week consistently in a modest traffic area. (18-22 / University Crowd)
My original Crusin' USA cabs (2 player) paid for itself in 8 months. Sold it after the 2nd year. A ball park estimate was 22k net in 24 months after the sale of the units.
