Where does the ground wire (green/yellow) with the small ring go? (in the CP)

It is just used to ground the control plate itself. Putting the ring under one of the nuts holding the joysticks down would be fine.

On my NAC there is a bolt just above the 1P2P buttons with the ground attached. any other bolt that is on the cp directly should do.
The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

That's an earth wire not ground, but as already said attached anywhere metal on the CP is fine.
