Post by VIDEOTRONICS »

Hello

I’m visiting Japan next week
Wonder is there demand for Viewlix /noir etc ??
modern cabs
Rhythm games
not want to touch CRT stuff
too much headache from past experience
everyone wants a 25 year old machine no screen burn
Last Shipment I bought after Covid
Took years to sell
Is market same or new demand ???

Honestly Mo I was really surprised some of that stuff sold so slowly. Really nicely priced.

I dunno. I think people are afraid of lists. 🤷‍♂️

I would take a Jubeat in an instant.

Also looking for a Wacca, Chunithm and Sound Vortex. But honestly it all comes down to prices and the rhythm games don't tend to be on the small side for containers.

Also after a Taito bench for the E2 but not willing to spend Mr Karate money on it haha. Egret 2 original manual and Spinner panel to complete the setup.

I'm interested in pricing for:
- SDVX (Nemsys and/or Valkyrie Models)
- IIDX (classic and/or Lightning Models)
- WACCA
- ongeki
- chunithm (old or new)
- maimai (finale or DX)
- museca
- polaris chord
- bombergirl
- jubeat
- reflec beat
and probably many others...

Would be good to get a price and availability list for as many of these sorts of machines as possible honestly.

If the chance arises I'd actually be very interested in Pony 18s with broken or missing monitors.

Empty shell / **** electronics / mahjong panel, don't care.

Hi Mo,

Namco Pokken Tournament.

If you are lucky enough to find any, everybody loves pokemon and it's a small cabinet and no doubt future classic. :awe:

I'd be interested, even if its missing the Es3 motherboard or in rough shape etc.

Have a good trip!

I wouldn't be surprised if I visited the same warehouse last year. 90% of everything going out from Japan seems to be exported by the same company. You can find the company easily enough with Google.

The only CRT cabs you will find are Nets, Blasts, Versuses and Astros. They all have some burn in.

A lot of Vewlix, Noirs, Grigios and APM3. A ton of rhythm games, but not the newer games or models. Definitely no Polarischord or Lightning / Valkyrie models.

If they ever get anything anything special in and you see it in their warehouse, it doesn't matter. It will be automatically reserved for a certain American importer that does more volume than everyone else combined. It's exhausting seeing cabs and asking about the price and getting "no, it's reserved for [American importer]" in response. Apparently, some importers don't even bother going to the warehouse any more, a waste of time.

Trump's tariffs are at 24% for Japan, so I can't see that making a huge difference for [American importer]. That's no more than what VAT is for all of us in Europe.

I wonder why you basically never see any dinoking or similar sized newer dedicated mini cabs on the market ? Do they exist in the japan second hand market?

Mini medal cabs are available. Many have been converted to LCD though.

I bought the blue and yellow Dragonball Z cab on the left for 20,000 JPY as it still came with the original CRT.
