Wall mounting control panels (3d printing?)

I've spare control panels that I could do with easy access to, I've seen people wall mount them with 3d printed brackets and the like, anyone have any experience doing this and what's good/not?

Not heard about the 3d printing mounts.

I saw this picture over on Arcade Projects where they are using the bike rack mounts:
