Hello. The psu of my Blast city was not working so i got a new one.
This new one has a sticker that says it is 220v. I asked the dealer if that was really the case because i never saw this before and he says yes, that i can truly feed it with 220v because it has been "converted".
What i saw before is that the people put a 220v-100/110v transformer inside the cab but i never saw something like this. And im worried that because the light and the monitor of the cab is 100v if i connect this 220v psu it will blow everything.
How should i proceed? Is there a way to see if it is trully 220v? How can i plug it isolated to test it on his own and measure the outputs to see if it outputs 100v for the monitor and the rest of the cab? Is there a schematic somewhere?

It's not 220V, do not plug it in without an external transformer.

Yes.
Even if it would be 220V, it would be safe to plug in to 100V. It just wouldn't work.

I plugged it at 110v. The cabinet started, the fluorescent turned on and the fan started to spin. But i get no LED light in the PSU and i get 0v at the output of the jamma harness.nem wrote: July 27th, 2024, 12:05 pmYes.

The fan at the back of the PSU? The fan is a 12V one. If it spins it means you should have at least 12V on the jamma harness.
Who did you buy this from? How do you know that it isn't faulty? The seller told you that it is 220V, that is already wrong.

Yup sorry i was in a rush when i mounted everything and i didnt realize that the io board was not properly connected.nem wrote: July 28th, 2024, 3:13 pm The fan at the back of the PSU? The fan is a 12V one. If it spins it means you should have at least 12V on the jamma harness.

Now im getting correct readings of 5v and 12v at the jamma edge, and the fan and the fluorescent light are working. The only thing that is not working for some reason is the led light of the psu. But i will try to assamble the rest of the machine tomorrow and see how it everything behave.
Btw the PSU i got it for free from a friend, he tried it like 10 years a go last time. It came from yaton i think, not sure.
