Repro Artwork suggestions?

Post by zookeeper »

I'm looking to get new repros of both both the artwork AND a '6 buttons each for 2 player' type metal panel for a blast city. I'd prefer it to have joystick mounts not requiring hard-to access flange nuts (or otherwise impossible not to scratch up with pliers) and be ready for the most popular Sanwa and Seimitsu joysticks and buttons.

I saw a thread on another forum called 'Repro Artwork - What's good and what's not'. I'm new here and behave respectfully so I'l focus on the positive.

Though I have never ordered any repro artwork from anyone (I'm only a month in on arcade cab owning), nor have any horse in the race except to get a quality product I won't regret buying.

The positive I keep hearing about is the work of someone that goes by 'alberto1225', though I have no social media to know where to find him. Maybe someone can PM me? Otherwise, I hear good feedback from a couple of people about 'arcadeartshop' based in the UK. From pics alone, they both look like good options. I'll also opt for a replacement instruction panel glass (or acrylic or otherwise) and possibly custom instruction artwork to replace the default one.

[Probably more art but I'll keep it simple for now.]

There is a guy in the UK who does some really cool custom artwork. I'm sure he would be happy to put together some repro artwork for you. I've used him for a few things I've done, albeit not arcade cabs yet.

Give him a look https://retrofied.uk/pages/custom-work

@ArcadePartsUK - that guy's work looks absolutely stunning! Also that he works with Neil at RMC means I've likely also seen his work in the Cave's youtube videos.
