RC Cars

Post by CTN »

Who else likes to build to odd kit from time to time. During the lockdown I got kind of obsessed with the things again. Normally it's about every 10 years or so, but this time it's a bit more serious. I blame YouTube for that.

Anyway. Who likes to play with toy cars?

Me, I have a Tamiya Dump truck, Arrma Limitless & Hobao Vse also lots of planes ect its all been taking a back seat recently as I get back into arcade stuff this was my hobby during my absence.

Edit:

I use Noble NB4 for the Limitless & VSe & a Kyosho Syncro KT-231P TX for the Tamiya.

Frsky X20S for Air stuff.

I'd like to. Just don't have the funds for another hobby. When it comes to other toys I can lurk in hobby communities and watch Youtube videos to get my fill of that sort of silly collector stuff, but nothing can beat experiencing ecstasy of speed firsthand.

I've started doing this with games. Whenever I have a rose tinted flashback, instead of spaffing money to play it again and get bored after 5 minutes, I just look up a longplay on Youtube.

They are the greatest thing. I built a Midnight Pumpkin during my summer vacation. The thing is constantly out of control - just epic.

Build shouldn't last longer than a weekend. Body obviously excluded.
