Vewlix FC Control Panel + Seimitsu joystick

Post by supabok »

Hi folks,
wondering what options I'd have if I wanted to mount an LS-32 on my Vewlix C Control Panel?

I removed the JLF in my current setup and tried a couple of plates (SS, Flat , Small Universal) but none of them fit the screws in the CP as they're all a bit smaller in width...

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

cheers

You need to replace the Taito mounting brackets.

Is your stud arrangement on the panel square or rectangular?

Hi Nem,
Stud arrangement looks rectangular and the screws are set wider than all current plates I have.

The plate that's currently there, with a JLF, looks like an inverted SS plate actually. The JLF is mounted directly to that plate and then mounted to the CP.

Seimitsu makes a mounting plate that will fit on your panel. You don't need the Taito mounting bracket in between.

Thx Nem! I had no idea this plate was a thing :O

It inspired me to go to my favorite parts supplier, Tops, to purchase and noticed they also had this base plate:

I just purchased this since they're stateside:

I'll see how it goes and if the universal doesn't work out, i'll opt for the official seimitsu ones.

Thanks for the help
