Overnight price hikes

Post by Mr-Megalo »

So the first day in to 2021, the first thing I have noticed is Overnight price hikes on buying from anywhere outside the prison, sorry - the UK

Something that was £105 with £50 postage last night is now £126 with £60 postage.
Several other items in just my eBay watch list alone have gone up around 20% or so literally overnight.

Is this a sign of things to come?

As someone outside the UK who has dealt a lot with people in the UK before, theres no way im selling/buying to/from UK until theres a clearer understanding of what the customs/toll implications of Brexit are.

We've left the customs union so same charge as buying anything else from outside the EU I guess? With the possible exception of goods produced in the UK.

Had a quick look on Amazon this morning and it's not so bad UK vat seems to be replaced with Irish vat but delivery times have gone way out :problem:

I've 2 items supposed to be on there way, ordered before crimbo so expect to be totally shafted on charges on them :problem: :problem:
