SFX power supply for supergun?

Has anyone ever used an SFX power supply for a super gun build?

My plan was to use the RetroElectronik supergun board with a Sfx power supply (modular, to keep size down) and sandwich it between a plexiglass in a custom mounted case.

I just wasn’t sure if I’d run into any problems a) with an sfx supply and b) what wattage I’d want?

First time supergun builder so wanted to check before I purchased anything
