As I've got a knackered shoulder and can't do any heavy work I though I'd do a bit of stick modding to pass the time away....

I have a pair of Dreamcast arcade sticks with tired sticks so out with the Aldi dremmel and some new buttons from http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk (not the cheapest but I got them in 2 days).

I enlarged the holes with an hand file (as the standard ones are too small) and used a cutting disk to remove the button tubes inside the stick so I could use OBSN-30's

I'm going to connect them to some veroboard and add two buttons (another start button on the top and a credit button on the back) - thats the next step....

Good job pen, but isn't it a bit too gray? Maybe a different balltop would cheer it up a bit, or are you explicitely diggin' the plain looks. Good luck with your shoulder btw

I'm going with the less-is-more approach - besides I had some white buttons already so only needed to order a few to do both sticks.

Not made my mind up on the balltop yet so might post a picture with all the colours I have for discussion nearer the end of the project.

Today I'll be making a plate to cover the two big holes and mount the veroboard for all the connections.

Must say i'm triggered to redo my own DC sticks as well,
