I got sick of swapping wires whenever I played HNK and SF3.3 so today I crimped together button 4 with X on the kick harness and button 5 with Y.
SF3.3 works fine like this but when I play HNK and press button 4 both players punch for some reason??
Also button 5 is doing the same punch as button 4
:
Worked perfectly fine before I crimped them together
I cant figure it out, ive traced the wires back and ive definately got the right ones crimped together.

A possible solution would be to put a DPST switch on the ground wires for the CPS2 harness. When you swap in HNK, just flip the switch to cut the ground wires.

Yeah you've gotta be super careful with the setup you were previously running... the slightest short on a ground line connected to the kick harness will most certainly trigger a suicide on the CPS3 hardware.
Glad you got it goin
