Psychic 5 repair log

Hi there,
I have just completed a repair effort that I am pretty sure will be of interest to the community.
This is the first repair log I post on AO (and with your approval it will not be the last) and I have taken the liberty to wikify it in the first place. I hope I did not violate any rule I was not aware of.

LOL, naively enough I didn't even think it could have been someone from the forum. I will update the article accordingly.
Thanks for saving me hours of useless investigation. If you still have that board, it would be really interesting to compare the area with the lonely via in order to see how NMK solved the issue in the end. That and a couple other things left me with some unsatisfied curiosity...

Just read this. All the best repairers are the ones that explains how the hardware works. Wish more would follow suit as this helps people repair more than the actual fix. I think Batusan is based on similar pcb architect. Its very unique way of displaying sprites i think. Each pig in Batusan has its own circuitry so if something goes wrong you start missing individual piggies.
