Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion has been announced! It will be officially shown at the upcoming Amusement Show on September 20th in Tokyo, Japan! It will be an upgraded version of the existing Tekken 6 game and is slated for an arcade release in December!
I'm guessing it will be to Tekken 6 as Dark Resurrection was to Tekken 5. The good news however is that with ATEI in January we will probably see a couple of demo units brought in by Namco UK again. So if anyones desperate to blow a few grand you know where to find them.

People have the right to be stupid, but some abuse that privilege.
is that on new hardware as its says system 357??come to think of it i only know tekken 5 DR is on system 256??does anybody know if there was a new hardware made for tekken 6 & upwards??
I remember talking to the Namco tech at ATEI last year and he opened the cab for me. He said that it only worked in HD and wasn't compatible with older cabs and that it only outputted in widescreen. So the option was to buy a cramped 1 player cab converted to 2 player or let it pass. I might reconsider this year. ;P

Seems very strange to have standalone kits including Sega form factor panels and marquee if the game wouldn't actually run in VGA resolution...
the marquee looks like a Lindbergh/Namco 32 one, its larger than the usual naomi style marquees.
but the panels are strange thats right. i`m sure that both the Namco32 and the Lindbergh come with frames to use regular style panels , like the Vewlix does , but its still odd.
The system is housed in the Namco HD sit-down cabinet, and is best operated with accompanying connected cabinets, and display screen – at a price of $16,000 per unit The kit version can only be purchased via HK venue (see our coverage on this in: http://www.arcade-renaissance.com/2008/ ... ken-6.html" )
None of the international installations are connected to the Tekken.Net (ALL.Net) system, and th issue with the latest update will be left to the individual operators to gain a software update from source.
