Jpac no picture ?

I recently picked up a jpac but to be fair it was sold as a untested unit but im not sure if its faulty or not as this is the 1st time i have used one , i recently installed groovy mame on my computer and the crt drivers , after the crt driver install i cant get an image on my plasma so i plugged the PC into the jpac and into my cab but i get nothing , no lights on the jpac light up and i get no picture so i dont know if its my PC or jpac , i thought this groovy **** was ment to be easy lol

What is connected to the J-Pac, PS/2 or USB + VGA or just VGA? Because I think the J-Pac is powered from the computer and not the JAMMA harness, so just plugging it in to see if the video is OK won't work.

ahh ok , ive only got VGA plugged in , so would i need to plug in both PS/2's + VGA ?
