Naomi monitor issue

Post by chubsta »

Ive just managed to attach my pc to the Naomi monitor (Sanwa 29e31s) and even tho have done as many adjustments as i can see, its still not right.

1. the left hand side of the screen has a sharp bright line going down it
2. although the centre of the screen is in focus, it loses this towards the top and bottom.

From the little i know about monitors i would also say the width coil needs adjusting because im missing a fair bit of the right hand side of the screen, but i cant find it!

any help appreciated - unfortunately it hard to show the problems on the attached picture...

you definetly running 640x480 @ 60hz yes ?
not of much help to you, but quick answer is - Sanwa 29e31s chassis = load of crap, just my opinion like, the quality of the Sanwa's can vary from monitor to monitor, the only Sanwa I thought was any good was the one fitted in the blasts (better tube too)

you tried setting up screen sizing using a test grid on a game on MAME or something instead of the desktop, and then flickingback to desktop to see what its like then ?
