You've been framed

Post by markedkiller78 »

Seeing as there's not a thread for posters & what not (that I know of :?) I thought I'd start one.

Here's my latest "thing", I've taken to framing flyers:

Those look pretty good :)

Still gotta get around to framing my Dreamscape first flyers... I've been after a big frame to put them all in at once. Not on priority though...

Still got my SF2 Anniversary Ltd Ed banner that needs framing (3 years old?) and that SNK Girls one.

My own fault for buying stuff that needs custom frames I guess.

Cool!

I also want to frame some flyers and posters. Actually I got quite a bunch of flyers waiting to get framed. Sadly I lack time, frames, passepartous (so they look professional) and space on my walls... : /

Well the flyers are staying inside, seeing as they are nice & small & the posters will go in the garage when it's complete & filled with cabs :awe:

I am a geek :geek: I've got tons more flyers kicking about.

markedkiller78 - your framed stuff is really nice - good work! :)

It is a really really cool poster. I got mine framed a few weeks ago - all i need to do now is wall mount it! :)
I had to take it to a couple of different framing shops to get it done, as it was too big for them!!!! ;)
5 Feet!!! of pure Steet Fighter Beauty!!!! (not very well complemented by my rubbish photography!!!)

Lookin great Mark!

I decided my project for 2009 is to frame the best of my "art stash". I have about 30 posters (really really good ones), about 40 flyers + secret files and about 15 marquees to choose from. Thing is, I can't justify framing a rare art piece thats worth a lot of money in a $10 frame haha. I decided I'm gonna go for quality here... matted, museum glass and "real" frames (not the prefab ****). I was quoted about $75 per poster... OUCH! I'm sure It'll totally be worth it in the end. Plus, I've run outa space for cabs/pinballs so what the hell else am I gonna blow my cash on hahah.

These are two frames which I complied some arcade goodness in, otherwise they were just occupying my closet. Nothing special but in the end when it's framed it kinda looks nice ;)

Why not put a automobile showroom display in front of the cabs? ; )
