Show us what's mounted in your cab!

Post by wonderbanana »

I've no idea why but I've become quite fascinated by how people mount PCB's and other kit in their cabs. :geek:

So how about taking a pic of what's in your cab right now and posting it up here? 8-)

Atm I've only got my S-TV board in, mounted on (what I assume) is the rear of the mounting board since it won't fit the other way due to the cartridge.

I'm hoping my Naomi mobo will arrive on Monday or Tuesday although I will be gutted to take Silvergun out as I'd like to eep playing it along with Zero Gunner 2 :(

Completely OT but in regards to the pic above; is it safe to put stuff on top of the PSU cover as seen in the pic?

I have a similar mounting board in my NAC, I need to get one of those adjustable PCB holders for it really, I just have Bomb Jack screwed into it at the moment, I have to lie other PCBs on a shockbox outside of the cab :shh:

This is what I have in my Naomi:

I couldn't live with them like that.
Yeah, I totally understand. I never open my cabinet though, so it doesn't bother me.

I'm surprised there's no beer stashed away in yours Emph

@Franco - love the custom PCB holder - surely there would be a market for something like that? 8-)

Its a Clay Cowgill multi jamma pcb, you connect your jamma harness to the closest PCB you can see in the pic and you can run up to 8 Jamma boards off it, each needs its own ribbon cable and connector.Just a button to change game.

 I wonder if I should contribute.

Right now my cab consist of a Namco 246->Jamma PCB and that's all. I've been too lazy to take my 246b back to the office (too big to carry, need to hit up a cab). :palm:
