Neocps1,

Please explain:

1, why you have not provided proof of postage.

2, how you have gamescollector’s address.

I understand this. I still surplus of neogeo or pcb from some sellers ... they are not mine but pieces that I have bought .... I know what it means.
if it is true that he sent them .. sooner or later they MUST arrive ... or return to the sender if not delivered.
it is also true, however, that if it exceeds 1 or 2 kg a tracking always there even if not insured ....

there is nothing to say he has preferred to keep my games, the consequences for him is related, he said personally.

I agree with this. If it’s innocent the above should be easy to prove.

Unrelated to the above, but if a member sends you something which arrives broken (insured), the responsibility is on them for the claim, correct? (not escalating yet) Just want to know if I'm wrong.

If it warrants a claim and cant be worked out , in most cases the seller needs to make the claim against the carrier / post office , I think some countries can be funny on how they handle this.

It varies between countries but its usually the sender who initiates the claim. Make sure you take pictures of the packaging and any damage.

In Germany it's the buyer who has to make the claim.

unless and even if you have a missing package, chances are very slim to get anything back from the carrier unless you have some high-price service, so in the end, as a seller you are screwed, atleast here in germany.

No. The contract is being made between the sender and the carrier. I've had that exact problem with Hermes.

That’s the legal position in the U.K. the contract is between the sender and the carrier.

german post will inspect all possible damages caused by shipping, therefor the item will usually be picked up from the buyer (last destination after possible damage).

maybe that was what Wurst meant to say.
