SF4, and all my emulators requires a PC. so this isn't a purist's rig. look away now if this beyond what you can handle.

could be neater, but at least there is room for my dreamcast below.

PS360, UVC, 12v amp and 12v PSU. There are amp plugs which plug into the NAC kick and stereo harness's.

It's only a temporary measure though, I have bought a project box to mount the PS360s, UVC, Jamma edge and hopefully some dreams PCBs in too a'la emphatic.

That looks sleek as hell. Let me know if you want some kind of sticker graphics for it later. :awe: Not putting the amp in there though? It would also be very nice to extend the UVC VGA input to the enclosure edge with a short dsub cable.

Don't worry, It's a hand-me-down from when I upgraded my interconnects to QED Reference Silver Spiral, it's not like I have a better use for it :awe:

Cheers buddy. I was looking for an enclosure like yours but all of the suitable sized ones at Maplins were sold out but than I found this one on ebay.

I can fit the amp in there as its only about 40mm high. I'm not sure if it would be a great idea putting it in a case either with heat issues, I may be wrong though :)

I won't need the amp when I'm using it in my Naomi so I'll just leave the amp setup in the base of the NAC.

This is what I'm thinking for the two ends of the case:

Image

One end I'm going to have a VGA port mounted that will connect to the UVC by a short cable as you suggested. The two Neutrik USB panel mounts will connect to the PS360s and then the other two items will be 4-pole sockets that will connect to the Dreams PCBs

On the other end will be a slot for the Jamma edge, the two Dreams PCB VMU connectors and a kick harness connector.

Any thoughts emph?

Of course I would like a lovely graphic for it too :awe:

I think the Neutriks, while nice, are not needed, and therefore a waste of money. I would just put the PS360s at the very edge of the box, as the USB B females on them stick out just the right length that just some nice holes in the box wall will do. If you put the UVC closer to the JAMMA fingerboard, the short VGA cable will reach all the way anyway. Btw, if you can find some USB B solder connectors, you can also use that with those wire harnesses that came with the PS360s.

Let me know the size and style for the graphics and I'll draw something up. :awe:

I already have the Neutriks left over from another project so I may as well use them. If I'm going to piggy back the PS360s/Dreams PCBs it makes sense to have them at the same end of the box and so really they need to be at the end where they are in that picture.

I'm planning on chopping the ends off the USB cables on the rear side of the Neutriks and wiring them to the PS360 wire harnesses to keep the wire bulk down.

I'll PM you the dimensions of the enclosure :)

Remeber my mvs cabinet, i painted the board. well now i was with the dam problem of the battery. so i finish this for good. here the mods i did.

no problem to think if the battery will begin to die on the board with the liquid that came out of the battery.
