Mate at work has a iphone5 but is regretting it now over it, in his own words "its the same as 4S" when I asked what was new.
Looking like the days of buying a cheap Acer are gone now:
i noticed on displaying some sites on the nexus that flash wasnt there but it seems alot of sites have done away with it

Maybe it's just he general clunkiness of Safari then. Seems any time there's some pop open window or something it throws a fit.

Does anyone use a Thunderbolt external HDD? Weighing up my iMac storage options. They're bloody expensive.

Re: macdebate club.
Wouldn't get one personally due to the price. They work though, and you can daisy chain a few together which is nice.

Yeah, they're more than double the alternative. No Firewire on the new iMacs so I'll have to use USB

USB3 will possibly be faster than the drive anyway, unless you're going for some hardcore external RAID.

Re: macdebate club.
Yeah. Not all of youtube has HTML5 equivalent video yet which is a shame. A few music services still run better on flash but apart from them, I could live without it too.emphatic wrote:You don't need it for YouTube?cools wrote:I don't have flash on my laptop nor tablet and don't miss it at all, I've not had it for at least a year and haven't had any problems.I'd love to get rid of Flash, but I need to be able to get YouTube.
