I've not tapped install. They say that maps is really crap in the UK, and what's that passbook thing? Is there a practical use for it here at all? Buy a phone voucher for Starbucks and baseball games? :wtf: I'm not in America or the future and I still use cash.

I ended up installing it. :palm:

Youtube can be re-downloaded from the app store, but google maps can't yet.

App Store makes it even harder to discover non-popular apps as now a search brings up one app per page instead of ten or so.

That blurry fog is as close as I can get to my house. WOW, I can almost see where I live on the internet!!!

Not apple's best. Nice shiny volume button though.

YouTube is only available on iPhone and not iPad yet.

The maps for the centre of Birmingham has really nice 3d buildings. Where I live is a bit more blurry but a lot better than your neck of the woods

Insanely ghey.

I'd like to say no as Steve had apparently been quite hands off for a few years, but there's no way he would have passed this. If they had nothing to improve except iphone5 support they could have just chucked out a minor point release.

Email seems to DL a bit quicker and thankfully it's not slowed down my 4.

Overall it seems like they removed the stuff i used and made the app store worse. It does seem a bit **** tbh.

I don't use Facebook, but isn't there some FB integration (that's already present on android)?

I'm liking the App Store design, not happy that there is no you tube for the iPad (I know you can stretch out the iPhone App)

Maps don't seem to work as good as they used to :wtf:

Overall happy with the update but yet to find any useful feature that improves things :)

edit: iPhone 5 comes tomorrow woohoooo :D

'various locations, particularly in Scotland, are obscured by cloud'

Sounds pretty accurate to me :awe:

I've yet to download it...

I wouldn't bother until there is a proper google maps app.

Nearly every business near me has been put somewhere else and Solihull (a reasonably big town near me) is completely missing!

I haven't updated my 4s yet, it says it needs 2.5 gig of free space :palm:

The update is 628 MB which is more space than I have spare.

But it says "this update requires at least 2.5 GB of available storage"
