avatar 2 ... anyone else see it ? brought my daughter to it last night ,my god is it long ,its no masterpiece by any means and story wise it is clunky and nonsensical at times but it is a great cinema experience and what you go to the cinema for ,some of the visuals were stunning some average.

There will be 3 more to watch in the coming years, or was it 4?

I really enjoyed it too. That tank scene was pretty gruesome.

I saw the menu too, liked it, very dry, funny.. its not super clever or anything but after seeing social commentary akin to being slapped in the face (glass onion, dont look up... uugh) it felt like it did it with some finesse atleast..

I thought I was going to hate it after the first half an hour. Really naff. Then it develops into a sort of captivating espionage thriller and I really enjoyed it, even though I’m sure it embellishes the truth somewhat. Would’ve been a better film without the silly pixel effects.

It was either this or Avatar 2 I think we made the right choice.

That pixel stuff reminded me a bit of the Beach just a bit out of place.

I agree about the first half hour. So cheesy. Every trope in the book, and the pixel effects were pants.

In the end it was a great special episode of My Name is Earl.

Has anyone ever actually paid for Apple TV+ btw? Seems like you'd get 6 months free with a bag of Skips at the moment.

I'm old school & still use the torrents as they have everything all under one roof.

The Mrs has a few shared accounts such as Netflix & Disney but I prefer my offline collection.

Something that totally flew under the radar for me..

Brawl at cellblock 99

Goddamn! Vince vaughn in high form and the most graphic violence that would even make tarantino squirm, this thing went places, great all star cast too, highly recommended!!
