Nah I wasn't taking the ****. When I wrote it, I was thinking this might sound sarcy, but that demo was impressive. Support for common controllers is a nice touch too. I'm not sure if it's an ipad killer though as it looks to be a jack of all trades - different market - though I'm sure it'll have a bite.

iOS. Nothing, but the iPad 3 has some serious GPU horse power compared to the Tegra

Yeah, powervr is really **** over tegra from a great height. It's nothing like on desktops where the competition is too close to worry about. On mobile socs, even the last generation powervr chips smash the current tegra. The thing is though that not many ipad apps actually take advantage of it yet. The games on nvidia's nzone look at least as good as ios games and many look better. ipad games are pretty much all limited by backwards compatibility, but I think the nicer looking nzone stuff has more to do with nvidia making deals with publishers than any actual hardware benefit.

I think that even with it's weaker gpu, the asus transformer definitely looks like more of a 'serious' gamer's device than an ipad. It has proper controller support and a keyboard too, so touch input doesn't limit it to casual games only. The target market is gamers who want an occasional tablet more than they want a fully powered laptop. I don't think it'll kill the ipad because it's not as good at being a tablet as the ipad is - but it does look good at being what it is.

Another trojan called Sabpab was discovered yesterday which exploits the same Java vulnerability.
Yeap. Security by obscurity no longer works. Time for some Anti Virus software.

You can check you have it by looking for
