I've just realized the Pony mk3 doesn't have a volume control on it does it ? I noticed Raiden 1 had a volume pot on it, Do most Jamma boards have volume pots then ?

That explains it then ;) Thanks thegreathopper, I suppose it due to the Ponies not having dedicated hardware like other cabs then

Its like that in an Aero City/Table as well :)

I think it must be the older style cabs as the Astro has a volume control on the PSU

Mine had a volume control - it was on the same mounting plate as the test button & coin mech PCB.

It's in the bits box now as I'm running the Pony-III with a 60-in-1 PCB that has volume settings (TBH I got the pony-III specifically for that PCB to go inside).

Yes I remember you saying some pony mk3's came with coin PCB while other don't, Seems there's more than one flavor Pony mk3 out there, Interesting  I wonder if it's date related.

Just collected from the powdercoaters - £200.

A few bits that might need touching up from the process (items were hung on a conveyer system, then sprayed and baked - so depending on where they were hung from there's a flaw in the finish that may or may not be visible) which is a quick and easy job.

Otherwise all good. Really thick, glossy durable finish.

Didn't have time to grab pics (ducked out of work), will do tonight.

You want an assembled pic?

I'll see what I can do tonight. Hopefully I can find some teflon inserts for the leg levellers first.

Unfortunately the coaters didn't follow instructions regarding threads, so I've got to clean them out before I rebuild anything further - sheared the heads off two bolts already.

Hook marks appear to only be visible in one spot though, which is excellent news.

Yes I'm fearing the same but you could always buy a cheap tapping set and redo them m4 the main ones I think.

That is a great price but you would be better off with a set of taper taps if available.

There is no need to use taper taps for cleaning out holes. Hell, I never even use taper taps for anything at work.
