Sorry to hear of your bad deal d00d.
That is a proper dry bumming from monouchi: he should be ashamed of himself.
ebay is the place for that kind of behaviour but it shouldn't be accepetd here IMVHO
Cheers,
Ralph.

Re: The dispute resolution thread
Completely agreeing with luke, yeah 5 quids aren't a reason to start a war but it's principle. Everytime I'm overcharged on shipping (anywhere, ebay or not) I ask for a partial paypal refund. I mean, if he wanted 5 extra quids he should have sold the coin entry for £13.

it''s not a chinese one. I believe it's the true sega one (straight shaped, not banana), which is expensive for what it is, but I'm not argueing about its price.baddy wrote: By the way, chinese arcade accessories supplier sell those chrome entry for like 0.5$ each...

Re: The dispute resolution thread
Sorry that it come to this.
I started to investigate about this now when you said that it said shipping £2.2....as that sounds strange when the same type of envelope with parts was sent inside sweden, and that cost almost £3.
I went to the post office to check and for the envelope with around the coin entry weight would be £6 to france.
That day I had lots of packages and envelopes with all the stuff Ive sold, both international and national and private letters.
I dont know if they got mixed somehow or why, but sure, I can give you full refund if you send it back. (as I said before)
Also, if the negative feedback is removed i can give you the £5 back if you want. (Though it should be £2.)
Shipping an envelope with parts from sweden to france for £2.2...does that sound right?
Richy13: Good advice there, gonna do that from now on.
Rossyra:it is already sold....

Re: The dispute resolution thread
Sounds liek an amicable solution is being reached. Luke - decide what you think is fair, agree with Monouichi in this thread, then Cools or Pang can sort out teh feedback side of things.
Ok?
All very adult and proper.

Re: The dispute resolution thread
here's a reminder Monouchi.

Imho, 12kr + 12kr = 24kr
and 24kr ~= 2.2gbp
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=2 ... SEK&To=GBP"
and 2.2 != 6
and 2.2 != 8
So Yes, 2.2gbp for a little piece of metal inside a letter from Sweden to France is enough...
You know my paypal address for the 5£ (gift of course !)

And still that is not the quote I got, no way 2.2 is correct when a similar went for £3 in Sweden.luke2fr wrote:here's a reminder Monouchi.

Re: The dispute resolution thread
When I buy from somebody I dont give them feedback until they give me feedback, as the buyer I believe that you should get feedback straight away once you have promptly paid and not messed the seller about.kernow wrote:I never understood retaliatory feedback, it's much simpler to just pm a mod or post in here if you think you've been given an undeserved negative rather than 'oh yeah! well take this!'. Doesn't make you look any better doing it.
my 2 cents

User : Superturbo
Last year at the end of november, Superturbo advertised a Hori Xbox 360 Arcade stick for 20 pounds. After some messages back and forth I paid him 25 pounds (20 for the stick and 5 for postage) on the 1st of December with all the details of where to ship the stick to.
On the 8th of December I wrote an email asking if it had been sent out and he said he had been sick with flu, so I told him that because of the Christmas period and holidays it would be better to send it after the New Year, so on the 9th he agreed to ship it the first week of January.
I was busy with work and did not visit here at all and on the 24th of January, he wrote to me saying that he misplaced my address so could he have it, I signed in on the 29th of January and gave him the address by message.
On the 13th of February I asked him if he had shipped the Joystick out as I had not gotten anything and he replied that he had not posted it, so I said I required it for an exhibition so could he post it to me in Norway and gave him the address and told him we could work out the postage difference once it had been sent. On the 14th he sent me a message saying he would get it out and send me a tracking number so I left it at that. However on the 16th he sent another message stating he want the address and phone number written in a specific way.
However being busy with work, I did not sign into the board for several weeks and as I did not have the joystick I logged in, so because of that I did not notice he had sent the above reply until the 12th of March, so I posted him a reply stating could he post it to the original UK address I gave him. He did not reply to this and on the 20th I asked him if he had sent this out and he did read it and log into the forums since then.
I did send him yet another message today, which he did reply to and has said he will send it out tomorrow, but he has said this a few times before so I am not 100% convinced I will get a tracking number tomorrow.

Re: The dispute resolution thread
All I can do is apologize for the poor service in getting this out to you. Between myself and PM's its been a nightmare. I sincerely apologize for this and hope I havent brought any negative feedback to AO or members on here.
Item has been arranged for collection tomorrow, I have PM'd a tracking number.
*Also if anyone uses parcel monkey, shipping abroad seems to require strict information.
Once again sorry, this is not common thing from me (selling and taking so long to post).

Re: The dispute resolution thread
I hope so too, only posted this here as I was getting a little fed up as it has been so long and not once has he apologised for not sending it out to me.goatboy wrote:Three and a half month quick.kernow wrote:Nice and quickAnyway, Hope it's solved now.
Before he edited his post, he did say that he had PM'd me with a tracking number at 12:30 today, which he didn't and this might and been what Kernow replied to.
