Re: Wii U
Component was massively popular up until HDMI took hold. There are a ridiculous number of HD CRTs around that use it for a start, plus AV receivers.Hewitson wrote:I'm surprised it even has component. Surely no one would hook it up to a TV that doesn't have HDMI.

Re: Wii U
It has a HDMI and the same AV connector as the Wii, so will work with whatever leads the Wii does.
I can see no reason whatsoever why the component lead will not accept upto 1080p.

That'd be great for me too then as I chopped a little hole out so that the wii wires are hidden. It'd be nice to just switch the U straight in it's place.

Re: Wii U
Since they're limited by the drive size, I reckon it's just a bit shorter, but a shedload slimmer.

I'm not too interested in the Wii U just yet but there's little can beat the feeling of opening and setting up a new console on Christmas morningpubjoe wrote:It's a Christmas present. Looking forward to it now.

Re: Wii U
Wii mini? Right who ever has a wii at hand put the remote next to it like in the picture. Judging by that picture it's not gonna be much smaller at all. But it does look nice.
