Component was massively popular up until HDMI took hold. There are a ridiculous number of HD CRTs around that use it for a start, plus AV receivers.

mine finally arrived today , but didn`t have the time to test it yet ,i was too bussy chasing after my son testing his atv :lol:

It has a HDMI and the same AV connector as the Wii, so will work with whatever leads the Wii does. :)

I can see no reason whatsoever why the component lead will not accept upto 1080p.

That'd be great for me too then as I chopped a little hole out so that the wii wires are hidden. It'd be nice to just switch the U straight in it's place.

Since they're limited by the drive size, I reckon it's just a bit shorter, but a shedload slimmer.

Wii mini? Right who ever has a wii at hand put the remote next to it like in the picture. Judging by that picture it's not gonna be much smaller at all. But it does look nice.
