Stupid shopto put me on a ticketing queue regarding a problem. 24 hour reply they say. Didn’t get back to me for 7 days until I asked PayPal to refund me. Istant reply surprise, surprise... It just shows that they ignore messages and are not busy like they would have you believe.geotrig wrote: September 19th, 2019, 9:17 am Are all companies doing there best to out do themselves in ineptitude.......or just trying to drive me mad .... amazon you cant chat to online anymore you have to take a phone call pain in the **** when you are at work ?used to be great quick and easy !
others just have stupid ticketing systems in place where you just go around in circles ...I've been going around in circles weeks with a crowd at the moment and its infuriating and they keep coming back with a question that has been answered before and when i reply i get "you've been assigned ticket no x...... we will answer you in 24-48 hrs "to then get another person who asks what the problem is ?

Re: Random thoughts...
Funnily enough Shopto refunded me today for a purchase I cancelled a month ago. I very nearly forgot to check if the money was refunded and if I hadn’t chased them up I wouldn’t have got it.

Every few years I think of this again and google it. Today...pubjoe (2010) wrote: December 17th, 2010, 6:11 pm This has been a reoccuring random thought of mine for the last twenty years...
I'd love to hear the original, unused, copyright infringing Lemmings music.
I once read about it in an amiga mag interview. The musician stole little melodies from various artists, such as The Beatles, and lemmified them. I specifically remember 'when I'm sixty-four' and 'raindrops keep falling on my head' being mentioned. Game developers didn't give much thought to copyright at the time, but Psygnosis, perhaps realising that they had a big hit on their hands, requested that they remove the bgm. They knocked out some new tracks, inspired by old out-of-copyright songs as a replacement.
Considering how awesome the Lemmings music turned-out, I wonder if the music that DMA really wanted is even more awesome.
...Oh and I wonder if the 'Lemmings construction kit' that I pre-ordered twenty years ago will ever show up.

And as coincidence would have it my friend happens to be round with an Amiga floppy>usb drive adapter thingy that he’s been promising me all year. I can nerd out hard tonight.

Why hasn’t there been a Lemmings remake? Also, Cannon Fodder while they’re at it.

Re: Random thoughts...
Lemmings received a lot of progressively **** rehashes.
I played an unofficial port to DS years back that was faithful to the original. It’s a crime there was never an official release for resistive touchscreens.
That port has been updated for 3DS. It doesn’t include music but you can chuck your own wav files into the music folder ...**** awesome news for these original music tracks.
