Seems to me like a little wrapping wire to the Jamma edge will output the VGA there. Then it just needs a driver which supports 15K video (Soft15k?), and an updated mame/frontend which takes the inputs on the Jamma edge and we're sorted. What's the price range on these boards?

Depending on the screen you can sometimes get by without one.
