You physically need to swap from stereo to mono.
The speakers are connected to a 4pin connector (see below) You can either run this to the Q sound amp, or run it to the jamma harness (for mono)

Cool, glad its sorted. 4 pin cable runs from picture one (which in turn runs to the speakers) then to the amp (picture 2) if your interested.

AmaZingly it's 4 on both my looms (1x modded to use without a amp, 1x stock loom)
edit: the loom goes to AMP connectors sega style. Andy added a extra button to 2 sega harnesses for me, worked without changing the connections from loom. The stock capcom harness is 3 buttons

As above it is just 3 button Jamma but can be modified in a couple of different ways for MVS.
