Nicely done!

I'm still desperately trying to get hold of an original Rygar board. Difficult to say the least, loads of bootys no originals :(

Man this and Bubble Bobble are my all time favourite arcade games 1CC it a good few times and yet....

The stage 13 scroll bonus never seen that before - are they any more.

I always thought the chain weapon grinding sounds were just hitting the sky stars.

There used to be a fansite that showed some extra graphics dumped from the roms that are not used in the game - one of which was a water well.

Do you guys sometimes ride out round 3 on the backs of the Griffins if you dont have the tigars head.

Also do you jump on the head of the Blue Guardian boss rounds for the bonus (Tigar head) or without for a laugh.

Heh, yeah a bit of back riding... can also do it on level 22 or 23, to avoid the jumping fish men (!). Prefer to just kill the bad guys to boost the score up tho.

Deffo got to jump on 'mini-galactus' for the big bonus points.

i am assuming you know the down diagonal cheat to get 10,000 bonus points when you end the round?

awesome game!!

Check out http://www.rygar.info (edit: that site is dead :( ) I had a local copy, but unfortunately, some subfolder were missing and therefore some pics are missing. It's the gist of it though: http://rapidshare.com/files/247078448/w ... o.zip.html

My personal best (on my Argus No Senshi PCB) is 4.589.890 pts, and that's an all-clear.

I just can't get the timing of blue knight stomping down anymore. I can only do it about 50% of the time now. That's why I avoided doing it in that run. Also, my dog threw up during level 9. You can see in the video where I was distracted. I had to edit out a 10 minute pause

Sorry, I missed that you didn't know about this. Do you know about the 1 billion score bonus on stage 13? Or the hidden extra life on stage 14 (not sure if this is in other versions than the Japanese though)?

Billion? You mean the sky stars million scroll bonus.

The Round 14 extra life is also present on the other two boardsets.

Anyone played the wii virtual console arcade release?

Sorry, I keep going Dr. Evil on big numbers.

That virtual console arcade release, does it have "graphical enhancements" of some sort?

VC release looks the same as arcade version not sure if its an emulation or re-programmed code.
